Guidelines For Becoming An 
Authorized Registered Service Dealer

 


 

  1. A market survey must be completed by a Preferred Power territory manager
    to determine feasibility of a new dealership in the area
  2. Attendance in a 4-day Authorized Field Service School
  3. An initial stocking order of parts & engines
  4. An inventory of specialized tools or acceptable equivalents
  5. Potential dealers must agree to service all Briggs & Stratton engines without bias of make of equipment or seller
  6. Completion and approval of a Preferred Power credit application
  7. Approved interior/exterior Briggs & Stratton signage
  8. To maintain dealership, dealer must agree to attend annual update seminars
    provided by Preferred Power
